# Qwery Health

> Qwery is a personal health companion for families. It brings together records from patient portals, Medicare, Apple Health, and documents into one health picture for each person in the family, organizes them around focus areas (the conditions, symptoms, and questions a person is working through with their doctor), and explains them in plain language, grounded in the family's actual records. Qwery is built by Qwery Health Technologies Inc. Early access is open at https://app.qweryhealth.com/.

Qwery explains records; it does not diagnose. It labels results as within, above, or below the typical range and higher or lower than last time, and points people back to their care team for decisions.

## What Qwery does

- **Brings records together:** patient portals (MyChart and most major providers), Medicare.gov claims history, Apple Health through the Qwery iPhone app, and PDFs, photos, FHIR, or CSV files. The user chooses every source and can disconnect any of them.
- **Focus areas (the Care Hub):** Qwery suggests focus areas from the conditions named in a person's records, such as fatigue, high blood pressure, or menopause. Each focus area gathers the labs it charts, the medications it watches, and the visits where it came up, so a new result lands next to the reason it was ordered.
- **Care Timeline:** every visit gets a plain-language summary of what was found and what happens next, with the results that came from it and the person's chats with Qwery in between.
- **Ask between visits:** people can ask Qwery about a focus area, a visit, or a result. Answers come from their records and cite the records used. What a person shares in chat is saved to the right focus area.
- **Visit preparation:** each focus area keeps a list of what is worth raising at the next appointment.
- **Whole family:** one account holds profiles for kids, partners, and aging parents, each with their own records and focus areas.
- **Works with Claude and ChatGPT:** people can connect Qwery to Claude or ChatGPT so their assistant gets grounded context from their records, with personal identifiers scrubbed out first.

## Privacy and security

- Consent-first: every source is connected by the user, and any source or record can be removed.
- Personal identifiers (names, addresses, phone numbers, ID numbers) are scrubbed wherever possible before any AI model sees the data.
- Encryption in transit and at rest, access logging, and a breach-response plan aligned with FTC expectations for personal health records.
- Data is never sold. Research use of scrubbed data is strictly opt-in.
